To accompany the exhibition, designer Erroll Jones has created a fully illustrated book, 2020 Visions: Virus & Verisimilitude. The story of 2020 is told from the artists perspective, through the 365 daily paintings and extracts from the artist’s diary. This deeply personal narrative is punctuated with visual and verbal insight, providing an authentic commentary on lock down life. From the deeply personal to the political, Cathy Phelan- Watkins shares her experience. The highs and the lows. The fear and the frustration. Discovering beauty in the everyday and at times, attempting to escape her isolation.
